# 1v1 Mode, 2v2 Mode

## 1V1 Mode

This will be the main play mode and it is the first play mode that is available to all players. The tutorial is conducted using 1v1 mode as well.

Each player will start off with the same amount of energy and the same energy recharge speed. Both players however are able to configure their deck of 8 units/spells. Each unit and spell are unique and have different abilities. It is up to the players to find strategies that will fully utilise the abilities of their decks! The towers' strength and health points depend on the player's levels. Note that the tower, unit and spell strengths can be upgraded and both players might have difference in strength.

There is a 3 minute timer where the game will end if 1 player has more crowns than the other. If both players have the same amount of crowns (or none!) then the game goes into extra time, where the game will add in 2 minutes to the game timer.

In extra time, the recharge speed of energy pools are doubled, thus the game is relatively sped up by 2x. Some strategies involve players stalling the game until extra time and then play their more expensive units and/or spells and overwhelm their opponent!

## 2V2 Mode

This mode plays the same as 1v1 except that 2 players will be on opposing sides. Everything is the same including number of towers in each side. The only difference is both players on each side will have their own energy pool and energy is not shared between them. The tower strength will be determined by the average level of players while the units and spells will be determined by the level of the player that plays them.

This mode is generally faster as there will be more units and spells on the screen at any one time. The game will try to match you with players that have similar strengths but that might not be always the case as it depends on the number of players queueing for the game.
