# Introduction to Toyland Defense

What is Toyland Defense?

Toyland Defense is a real time strategy PVP tower defense game. Main modes of the game are 1v1, 2v2 and boss mode. A typical game usually lasts around 3 to 5 minutes.

Each side has 2 side towers in both 1v1 or 2v2 mode and a main tower in the middle. Destroying any of the side towers will earn 1 crown and destroying the middle tower (irregardless of how many side towers were destroyed) will earn 3 crowns. The side with the most crowns will win at the end. In the case the game ends with both players having the same number of crowns, there will be a tiebreaker where the side with the tower with the least health will lose and the opposing side will be the winner.

The objective of the game is to destroy opponents' towers by deploying units on your side of the battlefield or by casting spells.

Each unit and spell have a energy cost ranging from 1 to 9. Each player starts off with 0 energy charge but the energy will increase over time in their energy pool. Each time a player plays a unit or a spell, the respective energy cost will be deducted from their energy pool. Players cannot play any units or spells that costs more than their energy in their energy pool.
