# Cards

There are 3 different type of cards in Toyland Defense that one can collect and upgrade. They are Units, Spells and Buildings. Currently there are 30+ of these cards that players can collect. These cards are in the form of NFTs and more info on how to collect them is discussed later.

All cards have the following attributes:

* Energy Cost
* Rarity (determined by border colors, white for commons, orange for rare, purple for epic and rainbow color for legendary)
* Picture

### Units

Units are basically moving army units such as Archers and Kong that move towards opposing towers. Some units can only target the closest buildings & towers, while others can target units as well. Some units are able to target both land and air while others can only target other land based units or buildings.

Please view every unit's description in-game. There will be a thorough explanation of all units' abilities later in our social media!

### Spells

Spells can be deployed anywhere on the map. Some spells deal damage in the area, some does it over time and some others only deal damage to either units or buidings/towers. Some spells are support in nature that will heal your troops or speed them up. Players are encourage to experiment these spells and find out on their own!

### Buildings

Building cards generally constructs a building in the map. Some buildings spawn troops over time and some buildings shoots on units and buildings/towers. All buildings however has a lifespan, each building will start losing health when they are deployed. They can be destroyed by other cards or it will automatically be destroyed when the health goes to 0.

Buildings generally stay in place but who knows, there will be building cards that can move in the future!
